I don't even have an idea for dinner.

How sweet is the polenta?
You add the honey, so it's as sweet as you want. Ours was not very sweet.
I am having a pre-packaged stirfry from TJs and then a fancy pants cookie or two.
I need to see if Mr. Jane wants me to thaw that artichoke mushroom soup in the freezer. That's what I want for dinner, but if he wants to stop and pick something up, I'm willing to hear him out.
I don't think I'll be cooking until tomorrow but tonight I'm buying the ingredients for Spanish potato salad, tomato bread with ham and cheese and baked goat cheese with tomato sauce & garlic bread.

We got a sitter and DH took me out for dinner. The two margaritas made me feel less like strangling my children. The lamb chops weren't bad, either.
Now we're watching basketball.
Mmm, lamb.
I have making cookies on the list for tonight, too. But seeing as how I'm on, like, item 5 of 25 for the whole day, I'm thinking cookies aren't going to make the cut.
Go Spartans! (I'm on tivo delay, though. The SO is watching Montreal hockey. He hates Montreal. I am failing to see the logic of why this precludes watching the NCAA finals, especially when the folks are likely to call me up as soon as the game ends.)
I. Will. Kill. Nunya.
Ply is out all night, comes back in the morning happy as a clam. Nunya slips out as Ply comes in, is out for maybe ten minutes, gets into a fight. Comes back inside limping. Come home from work, she doesn't try prying the door open like she usually does. Find her under the bed purring away, but it's the wrong kind of purr. Pull her out and palpate and find her front leg is swollen. Vet's closed, warm compresses, and beg my dad for money.
It was safer up in NH with the coyotes, fisher cats, ravens, bears, high-trafficked road and white trash with b.b. guns.
Oh no Juliebird! If it's a "cat fight abcess" like Persey had it's not back-breaking expensive but I think altogether I spent $500 getting Persey back to healthy. I'm not sure how long she went before I noticed the lump, though. You might have caught it soon enough that warm compresses will help. My fingers are crossed for you and Nunya.
