I've never had that. Neither pork chops with apples and onions nor honey polenta. How sweet is the polenta?
I need to learn how to do polenta. I love corn tortillas so and though I've had polenta maybe only a few times, strikes me I probably like it. (Polenta isn't that big in NM cuisine.)
I heated up leftovers. Kielbasa with orzo, pine nuts, peas, grape tomatoes, spinach, and loaded with garlic.
I had a salad. Romaine, corn, sw roasted chicken and a salsa ranch dressing. I'm getting REALLY lazy. It's pretty much that or Michael Angelo's frozen veggie lasagna the past month in which I really cannot cope with thinking about cooking or much else. But hey, still steadily losing weight at a conservative rate, so it seems to be doing no harm.
Yay yay GRACIE!!!
In other news, I want to eat at Dana's house because there's feck all here. DH is working late and the kids are happy enough eating buttered noodles so that's what they're getting. I am drinking wine.
Cashmere sent me cookies, because she is JUST THAT AWESOME.
Mmm. Everyone else's dinners are better than mine. I'm having garlic & yogurt pasta. Again. Without the pine nuts, because I forgot them. There's really nothing redeeming about it, except that it's quick and easy to make and good for nights like tonight because the SO won't eat it, but he's not eating at home today.
Leftover vegetarian shepherd's pie (homemade). Still good the second night.
IF it helps, your dinner beats mine, Liese.
Everyone else's dinners are better than mine.
Not mine. My goal is to finish the two pancakes I tried to eat for breakfast and lunch. My appetite has run off with my ability to sleep to have fat lazy babies somewhere very far away from me.
