All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Word Search

I forgot to set my alarm to move my car for street cleaning. I woke up 20 minutes late and got to my car as a cop was leaving it. That particular 20 minutes of sleep cost $50. I wish I got partial credit for moving my car before the street cleaner actually got there.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think I've seen "Hidden Words" used, also.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I think Word Search was what I was trying to recall. Thanks!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

What do I say in a follow-up letter about a job I applied for and heard nothing about?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm guessing "Bite me" isn't what you are looking for, is it?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

ask if there's any other information they need from you? Checking in to see how the job search is going?

Well, when I first applied, I still had a project with my current job. Now I have nothing. So yeah, I'm looking for slightly less hostility and slightly more CALL ME.

Maybe you could let them know about your current situation, and that you would be ready to start at their earliest convenience?

I don't know... I don't think I'm saying it right. Hell, I don't think I'm thinking it right.

What Nora said--focus on wanting to follow up, and still be interested in the job, discussing it more, etc.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I concur with the idea of finding out if there's any more information you can provide for them to help them reach a decision.
