I am working from home today and the doorbell rang a few minutes ago. It was one of my neighbors from across the street, with a bottle of wine in hand, welcoming me to the neighborhood. He told me about his two Schnauzers, and his partner Rick, and we laughed about everyone on this block having dogs.
I am so glad I made this move.

That's so great. Sara's new neighborhood sounds like it's going to be similar. It's the kind of neighborhood I'd love to find -- all my neighbors but one look vaguely like they've got meth labs in the basement.

Kripkat is back from a night at the vet and feeling better. Immanuel got a mouse toy that came in a package of three. I put the remaining two mice up on a high shelf. He has almost destroyed mouse #1. He just streaked past me with a mouse in his mouth...still attached to the piece of cardboard and third mouse it came with.
