It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I've already bought and had my bottle of Riesling, and am going to bed three hours early. Killer cramps, lack of sleep, and nausea do not a happy girl make.

Please let my credit check for my new apartment be okay. It can't be much worse than it was a year ago, and I qualified then. Living hand-to-mouth doesn't lend so well to paying bills on time.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This, I think, is news worth reporting: Coffee makes pain go away. [link]

Now tagless for your comfort.

Coffee makes pain go away.

In other news: The Sky is Blue.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Thanks, megan!

I did the math, and after New Jersey State rakes me over the coals, I bring home under 30. For a safe quiet neighborhood, half my paycheck goes to rent, the rest to bills and groceries and gas. But I'm gonna be good this year and get a sidejob. It's not like I have any spare money to do stuff with my time outside of work and sleeping.

Coffee makes pain go away.

This would also explain a lot from this morning when I was so late that I skipped brewing a cup for the road.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister is in tech support hell with Pratip. We're assuring each other his hesitancy and overuse of first person plural are because he has a crush on her.

Poor thing.

brillig

What makes the insanity thing even less of a plan for the poor woman is that she knows what she did was illegal. She just believes it doesn't matter, because the boy's not permanently dead. The cult leader, now, who told everyone to starve the kid, she can go away for a long, long time.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Ugh. Me and Kripkat agree: going to the vet is No Fun!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know what got me growling last week or so ago? Online discussion of Texas finding a man who killed family members sane enough to stand trial, despite extensively documented insanity AND plucking out his remaining eye while in custody. People were saying that he MIGHT be faking.
