You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It's a good thing that one was among the rejections. Why in the world would you want to be left hanging rather than get a polite professional confirmation that you weren't hired?

I've been tricked into eating raccoon meat before. My hosts seemed very disappointed that I didn't freak out about it, but as long as they weren't feeding me one of the cute little rabbits from the hutch I had no objection to lean muscle meat.It was like slightly stringy roast beef.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Offended? Rejection letters are so rare that I might send a thank you for recognizing the right thing to do.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Offended?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

He was oppressed!

In writing, no less. There's no getting over that.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Not hearing is so much worse.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sadly normal. But worse.

Can you imagine *not* sending out form letters to much more than 5 or 10 applicants? Who expects personal details at that point? Kee-rist.

Special K:

My sister is being a tech flake. She suggested uninstalling and reinstalling her DVD drive drivers, went ahead and uninstalled, and then asked me where the new drivers were. And chastened me for not telling her to have had them beforehand. That's not a technical detail! That's common sense! Now it'll still be my fault if she doesn't get it working.

God, I want to scream at her! I can't believe she screwed herself like this and I can't get her out of it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds immensely frustrating.

Is that really Prince in a Target ad?
