Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wish I'd ever learnt to cook my own goat meat. I haven't had any since I was in Jamaica over Christmas. I miss it. Hell, I miss eating out anything other than pizza or fries. Maybe I'll be fiscally irresponsible today and order in Chinese. It's no goat, but at least I didn't cook it.

hip deep in pie

I think goats are darned cute too. But I've never tasted them.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have to admit I find goat tasty. But unlike ita, I don't miss it when it's not there.

I don't really find them cute looking, but I was utterly charmed by the 4H goats near my old apt. They'd look at you plaintively and say "HEY!"

I love their cheese! I don't know that I've had any goat meat. I feel like I should have, though.

The rival high school in Veronica Mars had a real goat as a mascot. (Newport High, or whatever they called Veronica's school had a parrot.) IJS.

Am I supposed to now wonder what parrot meat tastes like? Because I do.

My dad knows what guinea pig tastes like. (Mom demured, she thinks.) And those worms in Botswana that I don't recall.

I haven't had much if any exotic (to USers) meats. But then, most untuna fish was "exotic" to me. Have had crawdads. Have had snake. But other than that- chicken, duck, goose, beef, pork. There may be a cornish game hen in there.

She thinks? Would your father have tricked her?

Are there any makeover shows that make (much of) a point of keeping individual style for the makeoveree? While I think that most of the changes on WNTW are upgrades, they're all mini-Stacys wearing the same pointy heels, etc. They say they pay attention to suiting the bodies, but what about the people?

More of a translation issue. And stews where ingredient lists weren't provided. This was in Peru, on the trail.

Though I think either he or one of her previous boyfriends told her pimentos were lizard tongues, which she believed unquestioningly. My mom, she can be gullible.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have been sending out rejections today at work to the 200+ folks who applied to the latest opening. They are form rejections, but are polite and thank them, etc. I have heard from a couple of folks who were offended that I sent the rejection letter. One said "I know I didn't get the job, thanks for mentioning it." WTF, people?
