I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

No such thing as too much crazy! OK, maybe there is, but still.

Oh, Jesse. You have clearly not been on enough bad dates recently. Or been a lesbian.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We were just telling our wedding story at the SO's birthday party Sunday. It definitely had OMG his family is insane moments in it.

Heh. Heh heh heh.

I think I'd care most about the overall reception/food/setting; essentially, throwing a party that is enjoyable for the people attending. The food need not be *memorable,* in the sense of being able to recall 25 years later exactly what side dishes were served, but tasty and plentiful. (Abundant booze goes without saying.)

But photos are right up there for me, after the party.

And then, yeah, probably my dress, because I want to look pretty in those all-important photos taken at the kick-ass party.

I don't anticipate buying an actual white Wedding Dress, though, at this point in my life. Something swanky and fun, certainly, but I'm over the Barbie Dream Wedding fantasy.

(Actually, I'd rather elope and throw the kick-ass party later, but both our families would murderize us if we did that.)

(Not that I'm even close to getting married, so I shouldn't assume who exactly falls in "both our families.")

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Lessee, have no plans or burning need for marriage -- I'd do it, given the right guy, but...the dude, friends and family are a given.

HOWEVER! I love a party, so after all that stuff fell in, since I have been in a zillion weddings, and a wedding is about as high on my list of shit-I-will-do as falling into a supernova from my bathroom, I would want a dress. A fancy non-white dress with a corset top and really awesome lingerie! Then booze.

With enough booze, I can have the thing in a barn. Hey, I've been to a wedding in a barn! And there was an open bar, and it was made of awesome!

My needs are simple.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You have clearly not been on enough bad dates recently.

I was gonna say...she's definitely not been you. You've had your share of crazy and then some recently.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, Jesse. You have clearly not been on enough bad dates recently. Or been a lesbian.

Hee! I have not been on any bad dates lately, or been a lesbian, it's true. I need to get moving on that, actually -- the dates, probably not the lesbian part. Although there's this article in Oprah magazine this month....

Coding and Sleeping

Although there's this article in Oprah magazine this month....

Some people are naturally lesbians. Some people, like Jesse, try really hard.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

A barn would be a great place to have a wedding.

On dating, or the joys of lesbianism?

I saw that Oprah show, randomly!! I want ot read the article, the show was AWFUL, I was all "Oh, Oprah, nooooo". Especially given the rumors about Oprah herself... (it was a show about women who are married, and then FALL FOR ANOTHER WOMAN OMG)
