My little girl has convinced herself that her face is "hideous". Why? Because she has freckles. I tried to explain how freckles are cute, but she's not buying it from me.

Last night Cold Case tried to convince me that Jonathon Schaech was black, and I just had to go with it. I prefer some visual leakage, like with Jennifer Beals. Hell, I thought his wife would have been more likely.

I am kind of fascinated that Rashida Jones is playing parts that are, if not white, at least not racially defined or discussed. I guess she's white enough that a lot of people don't know she's biracial...

It appears half. Her mom is listed as being Irish and something else Caucasian, and Quincy Jones is listed as having an African-American family.

Her dad's black, but she seem casts as white. I mean, is she too white to be Will Smith's onscreen girlfriend? He tops out at Latina.

Pretty much. It kinda tied into why he died, but not how I'd have expected-- he was trying to integrate Libertyville, but the mortgage he approved for a black guy got cancelled and the black guy flipped.

Yeah, I've only seen her in parts where her race is never brought up.
