I open one end of the can, freeze it, and then open the other end and slide the cylinder out and keep it that way, slicing some off when I need it. If I had a better can opener I'd wait until it was frozen before opening it, but mine's normal and crap. I want one of those unsealer ones--later when I have money again.

Wow, that is ingenious! I will have to try it.
I only ever use tomato paste for batches of chili, and that takes two whole cans, so no leftovers.
Can you believe there's a reality show out there called The Cougar?
And I'm not on it?
Beggars belief.
I love the idea of freezing the tomato paste. I usually just buy a tube since that seems to keep in the fridge long enough for me to use it all.
Hmm. Now I want to make chili. I should try out my new crock pot.
I am so tired. My stretch teacher today decided to have us do all abs and lower back. I needed it, but ouch! It's a 1 1/2 hour class.
Is it just me, or does this column (Maureen Dowd on eye color) make no sense at all? [link]
That is too funny, ita.
How are you feeling, btw?

Jealous of your stretch class, FTR. And cranky from lack of sleep. Lunesta is not my friend. Unless I have dilaudid in my system it seems I don't sleep, which is terrible.
I'm sorry about the jealous and the cranky, esp the cranky. You have my empathy. I hate feeling sleep deprived.
With the kids around I don't trust myself taking anything like Ambien, or even Lunesta, so I've been stuck with melatonin for the past 6 months or so. Seems to be helping to slowly improve my sleep. Emphasis on the slowly. But still, I'm thankful my sleep is finally improving.
I think Lunesta is supposed to be fine, but Ambien probably isn't a good idea if there's anything you need to be accountable for the next morning. Lunesta's not a hypnotic or a memory-wiper, so it should be okay, as far as I've read.
Not that it works for me, so by my experience it'd be totally fine.
It's very irritating because I go to bed when I start yawning, just in case, but I'll happily lie in bed for an hour, yawning. How am I supposed to know when to try and sleep?
