Good work, Kathy!

I think I just really like crunch. My favorite desserty things (except for key lime pie) all have crunch, whether it's nuts or toffee or whatever.
And I love crunchy peanut butter. Guess some of us are just crunch-heads.
ETA: Kathy, excellent!
Cucumber and peanut butter doesn't sound so bad. As long as the cukes aren't soggy. After all, pb t I have no BRANE and celery works.
Lokes is batting at all the nails in the walls as if they were bugs (left from where I took stuff down and packed it.) Funny little FAT boo.
How does he react to a laser pointer?
Oh yeah, celery, salt and PB! Yum!
Which reminds me...I need to pick up some celery to make Bloody Marys.
YAY sara!
The muffaletta is the third rail of sandwichian politics.
Also, my love for Tom Scola knows no bounds. Because HAHAHAHAHA!
Also also, this week is kicking my ass as:
1. We had parent conferences I forgot about
2. we had an accreditation visit today.
3. Tuesday, three of my seniors plagiarized a project
...
4. and it wasn't the first instance for any of them.
5. One of the seniors who plagiarized (for the second time) is in contention for valedictorian (WTF?!)
6. And most horrible of all, I agreed to coach the cheerleaders at school.
It's been a hell of a week.
billytea, is there a word for what we call jam?
'Jam', really. You could also use 'conserve' or 'preserve'. We don't make the distinction based on whether the pulp's left in; though we tend to expect that jams will have been made with whole fruits, so there's no need to distinguish.
I haven't laser pointered him much because it puts Devi on Instant Destroy mode (she likes it,) so it has to be done in another room so not often, with only 2 rooms.
Soon, soon they likely will experience STAIRS! I'm gonna need to block off the crawlspace [link] at the back of the basement because you KNOW a cat will go up there be difficult and explorey in the scary and dark and smells, and if I can spend my whole life never crawling in there, it will be more than fine with me.
Totally true. Our NM feral cats lived their entire lives in our crawlspace and loved it. Love. It was perfect for backing in just out of arms reach of the human and disdainfully licking a paw.
Go you, Kathy! I need to follow your example. I hung too much hope on having a walkable gym, I think. I just need to get out there and walk at least. It's nice weather. I live in a pretty place. I should be outside.
And Kat, I'm sorry for the misery, but I have to say your number 6 made me laugh and laugh.
