are medical bills, or short-term medical disability, anything that would affect taxes?
I believe the short term disability benefits are not taxable income.
I believe you can start deducting medical expenses when they are more than 7.5% of your AGI.
I would think that a program like Turbo Tax would work fine with those kinds of adjustments, and it's a lot cheaper than paying someone to do the taxes.
Here, have a grain of salt to go with that.
Heh. Thanks, Sparky. I've never had my taxes done before, but I've used TTax before.
Last year was really confusing -- I also emptied my 401(K) -- I know, I know, but I was umemployed and I had to not be homeless -- so I am a bit overwhelmed by the thought.
Also, Dana -- your tag? I'm am kinda of ashamed I know that's from Terry Goodkind!! Hee. Evil chiiiicken.
You should be ashamed! I only know about the Evil Chicken through fandom_wank.
I am exceeding my own expectations of how unorganized my desk has become. Now I am flat out embarrassed. Looks like I will be coming in next Saturday.
The shame, it burns. I DID stop reading after book 3!! Does that help?!
Was the evil chicken in all three books?
IIRC, Evil Chicken was only in book one. There was a lot of equally crappy prose, though. Le sigh. I have high pain tolerance.
