Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

hip deep in pie

Bob says it's for the greater good, because the cats are catsequentialists. Or cute-ilitarians.

Okay, that is adorkable.

prime-time show suicide plotline (name of show not given, but spoiler phobes beware) I don't read EW enough to know what shows he is obsessed with. I assume KH leaving GA is too obvious, yes?

I bought cupcakes for an afternoon snack for farty mcfartfart and myself. I hope he had an incident free day.

I made the great realization last night that the low-level nonstop anxiety I feel because I do not feel that my job is secure, is a small fraction of what mac feels about us as a family. He is strongly attached to me, but he is not securely attached and so he is constantly waiting for shoes to drop. it was a big aha for me.

ION, it is 4:30pm on a Friday, I just did a walk of the building and it is empty, and I am starving because I forgot to eat my lunch (DUH). So bored and hungry.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Mmmm, white pie, nom nom nom.

I have to interact with small children tomorrow, am very frightened. I don't even know what ages or how many. Just an hour walking them through the woods and then let the animal presenters do the rest. Still, wee ones. Spawns. And their mothers. Please let them be wee angelic spawn.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Work took away my asscaps and left me a headache instead.

I hate it when that happens.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

A) I just found out our major granting organization is folding up next year instead of the following, so I need to find $15,000 of new funding by January.

B) I turned up to do the second of our double sessions (private (paying) lessons) and I have no students scheduled. Dave has a full slate, so I either sit here for the next three hours or I drive a half an hour home and a half an hour back to pick him up.

I am full of woe.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for new kittens!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I too had a small epiphany today, based on helping my mom get dressed. If she were a cat and in this condition, I'd be worried about having to take her to the vet for euthanasia.

Oh Theo my thoughts are with you. It has to be so hard seeing a parent become so weak.
