Early: Where'd she go? Simon: I can't keep track of her when she's not incorporeally possessing a space ship. Don't look at me.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for new kittens!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I too had a small epiphany today, based on helping my mom get dressed. If she were a cat and in this condition, I'd be worried about having to take her to the vet for euthanasia.

Oh Theo my thoughts are with you. It has to be so hard seeing a parent become so weak.

Compassionately intolerant

Oh dear Theo, I had that same sense with my father. Bless you both.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Theo, I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That is such a hard thing, Theo. I'm sorry you are going through it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm thinking about you too, Theo, and wishing you the best.

We had an awesome end to the work day -- a couple of minutes after 5, there was an announcement that there was an alarm on a different floor, the fire department was coming, and they would keep us updated. So we all left! Note: Only awesome if the alarm was for nothing.

Sara - did you get more info on the inspection?

It's tomorrow @9. Requires my presence. Or do you mean the termite guy? We've been playing phone tag. I've either been in my office and too swamped to even make a phone call, making a call and missing him, or he calls when I'm in one of my bazillions meetings. What I need to do is ask for him to leave his personal cell. I've been going through the office switchboard. (And I never think to ask for a cell #. )We have the written report, but I'd love to talk to him.

I'm about to blow through a shitload of money, and I'm not even talking the down payment. I've got a spreadsheet. At least I have the money to blow.
