Spike: Ladies. Come on in. Plenty of blood in the fridge, don't be shy. Dawn: You mean like, real blood? Spike: What do you think? Dawn: Mostly I think, 'Eew!'

Note to self - Animal singing Danny Boy kills threads.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I love that hotel, Scrappy. Not that I've ever stayed there, but it's a lovely place to sip a cup of tea in the afternoon.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

On Tuesday Time Out New York broke the news online that Richardson had died, claiming its editors had been tipped off by a close family friend.

The item disappeared from Time Out's website shortly afterwards and editors sent out an apology for reporting her death, but insisted, "We stand by our new statement that she is brain dead and not expected to survive."

Meanwhile, she's being flown to a hospital in the U.S. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm confused. Brain dead *is* dead, isn't it? I thought brain death was the standard used for harvesting organs for transplant.

Boy, the commenters on the story at Time Out are not amused.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Flea, I'd been wanting to stop by Youtube to see that video--thanks for the link! I first saw it last year and completely fell in love with it. Only Jim Henson would have his three most incoherent Muppets singing Danny Boy!

Because books.

And Animal's "oh, boy. Ohhhhh ... boy," is most excellent.
