I do believe that Monty Hall has stated that he doesn't comprehend the Monty Hall Scenario himself.

I can't find it on the SNL site at all-- there seems to be no way to search, and Rob Schneider doesn't have a quick thing and I think I have looked through all the 80's and 90's videos looking for it. It is so weird.
A while ago I did an extensive online search for the fake-commercial for "Battle-cats." Nope. Nowhere. I found some old links, but every site had taken the video down.
I guess at some point stuff like that will come out on DVD; until then, we're out of luck.
Now I'm earwormed with "Chopping Broccoli".
Actually, so am I, as they do have that one!
I am so annoyed at Youtube for cracking down on copyright infringement. There needs to be a complete copright overhaul for the digital age.
Chopping Broccoli is so freaking brilliant.
Tommy- it is not this "Laser-Cats" one, is it?
(I am up to "L" looking through every video on the site)
Well, um, that's sort of the thing I did that needs an explanation.
Hee. I knew.
Tommy- it is not this "Laser-Cats" one, is it?
No. It was a fake commercial for this toy you would attach to your cat, turning it into a "battle-cat" that fired "lasers," etc.
It had me laughing so hard I almost wet myself.
"Batteries and cats not included."
eta: This aired in '91 or '92, methinks.
re: Monty Hall.
I've always wondered if there's anyone who said, "Oh boy, a goat! I love braised goat!"
When ita checks in again, she's going to be all, "You mean you could win TWO goats?!? More curry for me!"
Chopping Broccoli is so freaking brilliant.
It's the look on Sigourney Weaver's face that kills me.
