Congrats on the house, Sarameg!

Edit: And, to a slightly lesser extent, congrats on the bike, Scrappy!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Offer accepted.

Wow! Go Sara!

Gronk.

Timelies, all! Up early doing laundry before heading over to the hospital for my echocardiogram, which I will more than likely be a few minutes late for, unless traffic is just right. That's what I get for moving slow this morning (cat joined me on the bed right after my alarm went off, so we had to have some snuggle time!). Luckily, no one else was using the washers so I could load them up.

Last night's TDS was brilliant, by the way--if you missed it, make sure to either catch the rerun this weekend or see the entire uncut interview online at their website (apparently, they had to cut more than eight minutes from the aired interview to fit).

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm watching TDS right now (aifg). I love seeing Stewart get his righteous smart guy on.

It's 39F and raining here, right now. Why am I leaving the apartment again? Oh, yeah, work.

Gaaahhh!!! One of the washers, which I had set for "cold water," washed in hot instead!! Damnit, I have to contact the office after 9:00 to get that fixed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay Sara's house! Exciting! And seriously, let msbelle help. She's not overwhelmed, so that helps a LOT.

Yay scrappy's bike!

Kathy, I have had that happen, and I still wish I had that one sweater. (Most things were actually OK.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh yay on the house from here, too. I shut up the computers for the evening JUST before sarameg heard back, so that's a nice surprise to wake up to.

just ftr, I am almost always overwhelmed, BUT getting to help sara move will distract me from that. just sayin. I told mac last night that we will probably be coming down, he is excited to see miss sara and miss lisa.

a bunch of people are out of the office again today. here's hoping I can concentrate and get through some piles. I am resigned to the fact that I am coming in for at least 2 hours on Sunday though.

oh and Kat - PBJtime is beyond explination. When I first saw it back in 99 or 00, I spent way too much energy trying to suss out why it was a banana singing it, but eventually I just had to accept that it was a philosophical puzzlement beyond my comprehension (perhaps bob bob could help out on that one). I think it is just pure joy, it has an almost perfect swing to it musically and then the combination of the beat makes it irresistable. mac has made many many people smile and even start talking to us by singing and dancing to it down the street.

underware has never factored into the enjoyment of PBJtime in our house. Perhaps just another example of it's wide ranging influence and power to reach people differently.

I think a scholarly paper should be written.

Congratulations, Sara! Continued house~ma that all continues to go smoothly.

You should sign up for all the neighborhood listservs, etc., because people are always giving away moving boxes there and on freecycle.

I'd offer to help you pack, etc., but depending on timing I may have to plead my belly. I could send my husband to schlep things!
