I am very predictable.
When I signed the final paperwork to go to college in NC, as soon as it went into the mailbox, I panicked and it was physically difficult not to crawl into the box and retrieve it.
After I bought my first car, there was a meltdown driving it home after swapping check for keys in which I was sure it would die before I got there.
When I flew to Prague, I had a mini-panic-attack thingy halfway over the Atlantic.
What am I DOING? Why did I think I could ever do this? I must be insane. What if this is a horrible mistake? OMG.
When I took the first job here, I was convinced they would hate me and I'd made a horrible mistake and I'd end up homeless and jobless in a city I knew little about. With the second,

A paper isn't signed correctly or a title search takes extra long or some other technical thingy is off. Almost everyone I know who has bought a house has had the closing either with added complications or had it delayed. There is a lot of paperwork to do and the fact that there are mistakes is part of the process. If you expect it to happen, it won't make you feel like it's the end of the world when it does.
