Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Vibing house-ma your way, Sara. One thing I have learned is that there are ALWAYS glitches, so be prepared. A paper isn't signed correctly or a title search takes extra long or some other technical thingy is off. Almost everyone I know who has bought a house has had the closing either with added complications or had it delayed. There is a lot of paperwork to do and the fact that there are mistakes is part of the process. If you expect it to happen, it won't make you feel like it's the end of the world when it does.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yes, this. Our closing was rescheduled three or four times due to paperwork snags.

True fact! I can't even remember what mine was, it didn't affect the date of closing, but there was at least one.

Yeah, I am expecting that April 17 won't REALLY be closing.

Of course, now that I've gone into catastrophic mode, I'm convinced the inspector will find it is infested with black mold and demonic elves.
