There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
RIP Nokie Edwards, lead guitarist of the Ventures.

Fun! The start of their career sounds as hectic and rapidfire as the song itself.
I saw a clip online of Paul McCartney talking to a CNN reporter at the anti-gun march in NYC. They were standing a few blocks from the Dakota. The very young reporter asked a question about legistative efforts to curb gun violence, and Sir Paul politely answered, and added "One of my best freinds was killed by gun violence right around here."
I'd bet a dollar the reporter still has no idea who McCartney was talking about.
I spent my whole lunch hour watching clips from School Rapper 2, a Korean rap competiton show involving kids born 1999-2001 (so, 16-18.) They are so good. (I am so old.)
This kid is AMAZING, and also talking about pretty taboo stuff: [link]
Congrats, BTS! I bought the album and I love it!
I bought it too. There's something so charming about the way kpop does physical albums, with photobooks and posters and stuff. (We got the Y version - double-denim.)
What's your favorite song? Mine is Truth Untold.
I got the U version - all white.
It's hard to pick a favorite. I don't normally like ballads, but The Truth Untold is so emotional (and it calms down my cats!).
Other favorites are Airplane Pt. 2, Outro: Tear and 134340. Also Anpanman is a lot of fun!
Have you seen any of the performances for Airplane Pt. 2 or Anpanman? Love them!

I, on the other hand, am a major sucker for ballads, especially minor key. I am no one's teenager and BTS is not coming for me, but I'm grabbing that one.
