Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm pretty sure that's Harrison's son next to Petty and he looks pretty pleased with everything, so I have no complaints on any showboating.

Yep, and he basically thought it was the most awesome thing in the history of awesome.

Apparently, Eric Clapton was once asked what it felt like to be the best guitarist in the world. "I don't know," he answered. "Ask Prince".

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

OMG, if that's not true it really should be.

Ah spit! I was afraid of that.

Oh well, print the legend.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I remember seeing this episode, when I was 10. Of course, I had no idea who the Dickies were at the time.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So...Victor is a punkass and gave out a social media cover song challenge. The rules were, he had unilateral choice over which song, but other than that, you could do whatever you wanted with it. A bunch of his musician buddies jumped in, and so did I. Turns out it was a Phil Collins challenge. My song was "Abacab" and you can check out my cover here. Many thanks to the SO for the production. This was two days worth of work. I figured y'all might as well get the joy/pain too.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Liese, that was neat. The song is an old favorite of mine that I hadn't heard in a very long time. Must find my old vinyl.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Lies, I'm SO happy you did this silliness!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It was super, super fun, Victor! And if nothing else, I'm glad to have added all those amazing musicians to my social media life.

I still kinda can't quite believe we pulled it off.
