A bit Slim Shady? I'll check out more beyond the Holding Onto You. Thanks, PC!
Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
He does have that feel, yeah. I recommend the whole album; it's great.
This was pretty much a one-off (though I suppose Street Sweeper Social Club could do something again besides covers) but I love it.
Yoko Ono and Siouxsie Sioux duet at the Meltdown Festival.
Julie,
why don't you start off with a Pandora channel. You can customize (generally) to add or subtract as you like.
Pandora stumps me with the limited amount of skips, and now it's asking me to register, which makes me tired to think about, especially with my experience with it in the past.
I wracked my brain to to think of what I've enjoyed in the past. Fugees, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Wyclef Jean's take on Guantanamera, Lupe Fiasco's Kick Push, Mri Ben-Ari's duet's . . . Currently Raphael Saadiq is the closest I get, and he's quite retro, but she liked his voice. Generational gap music. No Boyz 2 Men, please.
Janelle Monae? She's got a song out with Erykah Badu. [link]
huh, I have 33 potential songs. Got some RJD2, Ramsey Lewis, Tricky, R.L. Burnside, The Herbalizer, Sublime, Jay Z (Hard Knock Life, baby!), Waldeck, Handsome Boys Modeling School, Anthony Hamilton (that way lies madness and a total old school mix).
I want to avoid anything that she might actually be currently listening to, which Janelle seems to be (purchased the song for personal reasons, though, what a great voice).
This week’s episode of The Aquabats Super Show was written by Gerard Way.
Is it bad when listening to "Everyone's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" makes me cry? I always feel so full of despair and hope whenever I listen. Manipulative fucking shit.
