I was listening to this year's Best of Bootie, and, to my ears, it sounds like there has been a lot of cross-pollination between the mashup scene and the dubstep scene, and I'm not liking the results.

Promoting the metal band my friends are in! Their first EP is up on CD Baby and in the iTunes store! Sludgy, drony, 70s-throwback metal, and they hired a pretty good artist-guy to do their cover ...
Seriously, however, Shedu sounds great. I'm really proud of all of them, and because of them I've been to a lot more local metal shows.
