Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Here's an interesting one, Beyonce's "Ring The Alarm". (I favour the Freemasons remix for the pumped-up angry violin work.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

MCR, Demolition Lovers

How to Be Dead, Snow Patrol

Here's one I'd forgotten about - Fallin', Alicia Keys

Ooh, nice one.

Another offering from Kylie: "Giving You Up". (Clearly I'll have to form a playlist for myself from all this too.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I will repost the new and vastly improved playlist once it is complete.

Got another one: The Eurythmics, "Who's That Girl?"

Ann, that's a ferret.

One I heard on the radio last night: Hot Chocolate, "So You Win Again."

Some more country: Tammy Wynette, "Stand By Your Man" and Kitty Wells, "Meanwhile, Down at Joe's Place."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

BOB MOULD!!

So Jealous!

I did get to see Stars perform tonight. I felt like a proud mom seeing Torquil onstage after all these years.

OMG the show was incredible. He’s in great shape—at least 20 lbs lighter than when I saw him in 1993—he was so enthusiastic, and he was having such a great time on stage.

Here he is on Letterman a couple nights ago: [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Nice. Mould rocked the shit out of the Letterman show.

I liked seeing the drummer grinning back there 'cuz you know he was thinking, "We're killing it!"
