I read on Twitter that Donna Summer has died.
ETA: Cancer.
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Wow.
How very petty and Stalinist of them.
I'm looking for a song I heard used in a movie trailer over the weekend. Unfortunately, it was The Black Keys "Howlin' For You", so googling the title with "movie trailer" doesn't work (darn you, Tricia Helfer!).
But it was an amped up version, massive bass going on. There might have been a motorcycle in the movie.
Juliebird, do you use iTunes? Try searching for "Howlin' For You" remix. I take it you don't remember the name of the movie... do you remember any of the actors in it?
Oh, that's not actually a movie. It's the music video for "Howlin' For You" that was made to look like a trailer for a movie. Tricia Helfer was playing some kind of bad-ass assassin in it, no? With quite a bit of Tarantino-esque exploitation vibe?
Vonnie, I know that. What I was trying to say was that because of the fake movie trailer, it is making it hard to find the real movie with the remixed song in it.
I'll give that a try, smonster, thanks. (no results on that, phooey.)
And I don't remember any of the actors. I think it was actually on a DVD of my brothers. He rented Ghost Protocol and Day and Night. I'm now six hours away.
Found it! [link]
And, wow, I was way off.
The White Stripes, not The Black Keys. And "Seven Nation Army" remixed by The Glitch Mob, not "Howlin' For You" (hey, there was alcohol involved when I saw it). I decided to troll IMDB's upcoming movies list until I found something that looked like it might have a motorcycle.
What's the movie?
