Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen. [link]

And the wacky thing about that (among many) is that Lorca is the daughter of Cohen and the Suzanne that he wrote the song about.

That poor child is destined to have a crazy, superbly fucked up romantic history.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

And the wacky thing about that (among many) is that Lorca is the daughter of Cohen and the Suzanne that he wrote the song about.

Nope. Different Suzanne.

Well, you'd know.

I still maintain this child is doomed to a life of high romantic adventure.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How very petty and Stalinist of them.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm looking for a song I heard used in a movie trailer over the weekend. Unfortunately, it was The Black Keys "Howlin' For You", so googling the title with "movie trailer" doesn't work (darn you, Tricia Helfer!).

But it was an amped up version, massive bass going on. There might have been a motorcycle in the movie.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Juliebird, do you use iTunes? Try searching for "Howlin' For You" remix. I take it you don't remember the name of the movie... do you remember any of the actors in it?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oh, that's not actually a movie. It's the music video for "Howlin' For You" that was made to look like a trailer for a movie. Tricia Helfer was playing some kind of bad-ass assassin in it, no? With quite a bit of Tarantino-esque exploitation vibe?
