If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

Avatar (The Last Airbender), make it real!

Haha, yeah. New. Hi, all. Don't eat me, I've given myself an intravenous shot of... something harmful. So yeah.

Highfive for A:TLA! I did not know that, but I will certainly check it out. O:

Also, whole album of Buffycentric songs sounds awesome.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Now that I'm on my computer and not my iPhone, I've even got a link. "I Miss Buffy" by Megan Gogerty. [link] A (non-Buffista) friend that I got into Buffy bought me a copy and got it signed, as kind of a thank you.

Avatar (The Last Airbender), make it real!

That is absolutely magnificent! I'll have to look into buying that when I get back from South Dakota and have access to my money.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hi, Mirrorface!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Thomas Dolby read the fanfiction based on his songs and made a new album.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My beloved Bouncing Souls are doing four night stands of album shows -- night one is the first two albums, night two the second two, etc.

Their singer Greg, who is usually more like this, [link] (even when not playing acoustically and screwing up the chorus) was like this [link] the other night... which was just about completely fucking epic.

In this version he passes right over the camera and you can see my friends and I sort of losing it (:45-:50) as he gets pulled back on stage by their guitar tech/keyboard player DJ and tries to tackle their bassist, Bryan [link]

I got to see one show in Boston and all four nights in NYC. Its been fantastic. I'm doing it one more time this week in Philly. So far any injuries have been minor but, hey, I have health insurance. It makes me very bold. Not stage diving myself bold, but I sort of laugh when I get kicked in the face because as I reach for whatever just got nailed to check for blood I think, "Hey! I've got health insurance!" Not very punk rock to be sure, but I gotta be me.

Its fun watching the choreography change as the nights go on. There is a two-step we call the "dancey-dance" Greg does that apparently didn't start until the fourth album. Once these shows are over and they're back to playing regular sets I'll be interested to see if those early songs get the dancey-dance when they're mixed in with later era songs.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
