Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

A friend of a friend wrote this about it

That's interesting, and odd and disheartening a little.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It's like modern day song poems, but financed by parents.

No problem. It's not often I am the first one with music news.

Wow. I couldn't finish it, but it took me at least a minute longer after I decided I couldn't watch it to actually click away. Lordy!

That is a lovely version, and totally appropriate to Big Love.

My favorite version though, is Mandy Moore & Micheal Stipe from Saved!.

I will sometimes sing along with it 9 or 10 times in a row.

Well, if we're in the mood for gorgeous, hearbreaking Brian Wilson melodies as sung by talented female vocalists I'll recommend Fantasy is Reality/Bells of Madness sung by his daughter, Carnie.

It's not really much worse than anything I've heard from Kesha. The only thing missing is a few years of hookers and blow.
