Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Thanks for the Sondheim post, David. I don't really have the film background to quite follow the noir connection being made, but I saw the revival in New York in the late 90s, or whenever it was, and it was pretty shattering.

Because books.

I think Sophia might be the only other person interested aside from Ailleann and I, but Panic at the Disco is streaming their new album on Facebook today.

Those lyrics were written by Ralph Wiggum, I'm pretty sure.

"Kicking in the front seat / kicking in the back seat / gotta decide which seat to sit in..."

I now must show everyone I have ever met.

I know, right? My face wouldn't stop twitching after I watched it, and the first thing I wanted to do was make everyone experience the trauma.

That's interesting, and odd and disheartening a little.
