I'm so excited for you Jon, and am awed by your confidence in situations like that.
Thanks, Bonny. The trick is not really caring if i make it. I mean, it'll be a blast if I get to audition in front of Sharon Osbourne, but I won't be crushed if I don't.

Best way to win anything!
MTM theme was done by both Husker Du
Shut up! Really? I have to go find that.
Speaking of soundtracks, but not tv related. I'm still bummed that Saved never got an album. With Stipe as the producer, you'd think that would be a lock. I have never really cared about a missing soundtrack for any other film but that one.

I think it was originally a b-side? Anyway, I have a copy if you need it. There's also a video, where the Huskers reenact Mary's "toss the hat into the air" thing at the correct location (Nicolette Mall, IIRC).

First White Castle and now this! Be on TV more!
Oh, the Husker's cover of "8 Miles High" is pretty cool too.
Are the musicistas familiar with the work of Dave Graney and the Coral Snakes? I've been in possession of "Night Of The Wolverine" and "Rock And Roll Is Where I Hide" for some time (they being featured on Triple J's Hottest 100), but I recently bought their Best Of compilation,
The Baddest.
(I suspect Hec would get a kick out of "You're Just Too Hip, Baby" and "The Confessions of Serge Gainsbourg", among others.)

Love it! Thanks Jon, that made my day.
Husker played at my university and I enjoying every second of that show.
Wow, now I really want to hear that Attila album!
