Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

They have one episide with a David Attenborough cameo. (Well, not the real David Attenborough, though they did get the real Patrick Moore.)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Is there any way to fix a warped LP?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Is there any way to fix a warped LP?

Traditionally, the attempt is made by placing it between two sheets of glass, weighting it down with heavy books and then leaving it out in the sun on a hot day.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Good G-d, Panic at the Disco really did make their new video as bait to lure in the ElderGoth Victorian demographic, didn't they? I just hope someone can convince the costumer to quit slapping random gears on clothes.

The song is DAMN catchy. I've been humming it all day.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

A good friend of mine was recently commissioned by our city's symphony to write a piece based on poetry by Elizabeth Bishop (as part of a centenary celebration). I got to see the concert last week, and it is posted on the French CBC website. I don't know if people outside Canada can hear it.

It's called "A Short Slow Life." You should listen if you can, because Emily's music is awesome.
