That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I listened to the Pete Shelly tune while I was compiling but wasn't grabbed by it.

Well, it is pretty basic synth-pop, but the lyrics crack me up.

"Telephone operator, your my aural stimulator!"

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh man, I used to love "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight."

To be honest, still love it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Stranded in a hotel in Asbury Park with half the Bouncing Souls.

Two shows cancelled/rescheduled so far, but an acoustic set in one of the ballrooms -- so that was nice!

I've finished the comp. I'll leave it up 'til Jan 6. Feel free to grab it. I just ask that you not distribute the files or link elsewhere as I want to keep my ahem'ing on the down low.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
