Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What about Barry White? You're My First, My Last, My Everything. Is that too funky to be sappy? I would also throw out the Keiths of my youth: Sweat and Washington.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Guess what movie I'm watching.

Go on, guess.

So far, haven't gotten to see KHAAAAANNNN yet.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I apologize in advance that this is an a cappella group singing Flo Rida's Low, but at 3:44 they sing something else that I cannot place. Help????

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Barb, check to see if you can find "Today I Met the Boy I'm Going to Marry" under Darlene Love.

She was the lead singer of the Crystals but I think that was released under her name.

You can hear it on YouTube.

Our wings are not tired.

My favorite sappy song is probably "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles.

“Not dead yet!”

Barb, check to see if you can find "Today I Met the Boy I'm Going to Marry" under Darlene Love.

I tried, Hec-- the only downloadable version I found was a Crystals rerecording that's not quite right. Other than that, I found a Best of Darlene Love CD that's out of print.

Thanks though.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Barb, I think my dad has every song recorded between 1949 and 1970 (not really, although I suspect he's trying), so I'll ask him if he has that recording.

With my luck, he *does,* but on vinyl.

Barb, iTunes has 6 versions of it listed, all by The Crystals -- none of those are the right one?

t edit Scratch that -- I see they're re-recorded. Weirdo Phil Spector.
