There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Man, I was hoping they'd come closer to me than Atlanta, but considering I flew from Massachusetts to Denver to see them in 2008, that probably won't stop me. Though the Atlanta show is also a Wednesday night, which is tricky. The Denver show, OTOH, is a Saturday night...

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Last time they went on tour they added dates after the initial announcement. I ended up seeing them two nights in a row after they added a show in my home city and I already had tickets nearby.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yes, that's the list I saw. There's nothing near by, much less near by on a weekend. I don't get much vacation at my new job.

eta the email says to stay tuned for more dates! yay.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

MOAR DAAAATESSSSSSSSS

I'm thinking NYC, Boston, Philly, Sayerville (LOVE that venue even though I nearly died there when a TubRing/Mindless/Leathermouth show there was oversold by HALF) and possssibly DC since I HAVE BEEN DEPRIVED FOR FAR TOO LONGGGGGGG and the Killjoy duds are shaping up to be pretty rad. Blue hairs! I really need a thigh holster...

Can someone for whom iTunes isn't blocked at work tell me if you can download individual Beatles tracks, or is it albums only?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I checked a few Beatles albums - they all have individual tracks for sale (all $1.29).

x-posty. I had to look up some stored procedure for my boss first before looking up Beatles songs....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

NME has a very enthusiastic track by track review of Danger Days.

This is the best rock record of the year by such a margin that you actually feel rather embarrassed for everybody else. This isn’t over-excitement. In 2010’s final act, consider rock’n’roll saved.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

It is a really good album. "Save Yourself", "Party Poison", and "DESTROYA" are my favorites so far.
