Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Thanks!
Ok, there's a song that I've heard, like, once. I am not sure where, so I don't know how old the song is. But, there's a lyrical motif of "my name is ______ and I _____" where the blanks are filled in differently each time. As you might guess, this is well-nigh impossible to google. Does it ring any bells for anyone?
Debet- believe it or not, it feels familiar to me. The one I am thinking of is associated in my mind with Carole King, but I think I am mistaken because I can't find anything.
Might one of you two be thinking of Playground in my Mind?
Jon, I know you don't always keep up with Natter but wanted to make sure you didn't miss this.

Ha! Awesome!
and Jon, did you get the email about the Simpsons toys?
Oh, damn, sorry that I never responded. Things got busy around Xmas and the email got buried and I forgot. I'ma gonna pass, but thanks for the offer!
This is probably a non-starter, but does anyone happen to have Dave Mason's "Spend Your Life With Me"? Yeah, we're talking a ... thirty-year-old song here, but it was my wedding song, and it's my twentieth anniversary. And I only have it on vinyl somewhere in a box (which was, indeed, how it was played at our reception), and I'm feeling nostalgic.
