I was waiting for you to chime in, David! There's a French show on WMBR called "French Toast" that's played the original: [link]

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
No Neko collection is complete without "Santa Left a Booger in my Stocking" from the ATHF Xmas CD.

For me it really depends on what I'm looking for in a song. Lyrics can make or break a song for me, but if I'm just looking to shake my ass they may not be as big a deal (still hate "Poker Face," thanks). Really good lyricists will make me swoon, but so does really good music, even some without lyrics (Sigor Ros, Explosions in the Sky). In conclusion: it depends. Aren't you glad I shared?
I like Neko Case just fine, but I LOVE New Pornographers!
Happy Birthday, Jon!!
Thanks, Tom!

As a gift to YOU, "Santa Left a Booger in my Stocking" is now on BRawk.
Happy Birthday Jon!
In case I can't say it in person (and it's beginning to look pretty dubious as I'm feeling not so hot), Hippo Birdies, Jon.
Happy Birthday Jon!
Happy birthday, Jon! I hope the Clean serenade you in your bathtub.
And then, I don't know, The Bats can hand you a special loofah.
Happy Birthday, Jon! And thanks for the track.
