eta: xposty with Hec...
Are people familiar with the original version of "Credit in the Straight World" by Young Marble Giants? (They wrote it, right?)
Anyway, I have both versions, so I think I'll send both to buffistarawk2 in a few....
eta²: OK, those are up there....
I'll post Tori Amos and Scrawl soon.
ION: Oh No Forest Fires - The War on Geometry is a very good example to a song that finds itself only after 2:48 minutes.
Is there an easy way to convert .wma files to something that will play in itunes?
AltoGold converts stuff to MP3. Will that help? I usually use it to convert M4As to MP3s, myself.
I'm sending them to you so you can see!
Doesn't iTunes autoconvert wma files?
If you haven't finished by Monday, I can upload the other stuff I suggested. I think it's all on my home computer.
Mine doesn't, but maybe I was doing something wrong.
I can certainly wait until Monday. (Though I think I may violate my no-buying stuff thing, because there are some songs I really want.)
I've got the Francine Reed song (from the Live in Texas Lyle Lovett album)--I'll have to see if I can get it uploaded. (Haven't done that before!)
Speaking of music, I picked up a few best-of cds at the bookstore today: Erasure and Booker T and the MGs. I put in the Booker T cd to listen to on the drive home. Love that cool Stax sound!
