I'm supposed to deliver you to the Master now. There's this whole deal where I get to be immortal. Are you cool with that?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I don't know, but I could certainly use "Duchess" for my "A Royal Pain in the A**" mix

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Musically they could be great, but they were so damned obnoxious lyrically.

No More Heroes would be their acknowledged classic.

There's some great stuff on Black and White.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I never cared much for them. I've only played them three times on the radio, and none of those songs stick with me (Peaches, Hanging Around, Tank). I don't know why I've never played Grip. I like that one!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

My brother plays The Stranglers a lot but they've never really stuck with me. I keep getting them confused with The Blasters.

Has there ever been a really good biopic of Elvis?

There was actually a good TV show about the young Elvis.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There was actually a good TV show about the young Elvis.

The one directed by John Carpenter and starring Kurt Russell?

Nah, that's a movie. The one that starred the young guy from the original Hairspray.

I think it was called Elvis: the Early Years or something like that. I'll look it up...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I guess it was just called Elvis a ten episode miniseries with Michael St. Gerard. (an excellent likeness)

Hmmm, more as I remembered it: Elvis: the Early Years 13 episode series.

Priscilla had a hand in producing this and it was a very faithful account of his early band on the road before he broke huge.
