Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Random question: For those who like Phillip Glass - do you like Einstein on the Beach? Or is that one not so popular even amongst Glass-heads?

That composition pretty much made his reputation, right?

Anyway, I love EotB. I have it on LP and a different recording on CD. I might get the other one on CD too....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Einstein on the Beach is my favorite Phillip Glass. Not that I own it, but I used to check it out of the library.

It's possibly my fave too. I bought it in '85, after reading a Rolling Stone profile on Glass.

eta: I don't play it that often ('cuz it's long ) but sometimes if I'm in a bad mood or really depressed, it's the only thing I want to hear....

ICompletelyON, I am out of it, as my coffee hasn't taken effect. I wanted to listen to The Weavers, but I was searching my iTunes for The Reavers.

Oopsie.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm a big fan of Glass' soundtrack for Kundun, probably because it sounds so different than his other stuff, which I also like, but can get somewhat samey after a while.
