Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's possibly my fave too. I bought it in '85, after reading a Rolling Stone profile on Glass.

eta: I don't play it that often ('cuz it's long ) but sometimes if I'm in a bad mood or really depressed, it's the only thing I want to hear....

ICompletelyON, I am out of it, as my coffee hasn't taken effect. I wanted to listen to The Weavers, but I was searching my iTunes for The Reavers.

Oopsie.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm a big fan of Glass' soundtrack for Kundun, probably because it sounds so different than his other stuff, which I also like, but can get somewhat samey after a while.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Grateful Dead archivist

You really need to wear the white cotton gloves for that job.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I think my favorite Phillip Glass is his soundtrack for Powaqqatsi. It has a bit more world music feel to it. Never heard Einstein on a Beach.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I think Einstein on the Beach is pretty tough going at times. I have another album or two I like better, but I can't think of their names right now.
