Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
My new favorite song (of the moment): Percussion Gun by White Rabbits (video link). Wow! A great video to along with a great song.
Now I need to hunt down more White Rabbits, but I fear that after an introduction like that, many of their songs will be a bit of a letdown.
I've been a huge fan of White Rabbits for a few months now. The whole album that "Percussion Gun" is from (It's Frightening) is awesome. I like Fort Nightly a lot as well.
eta: But apparently I'm not quite a big enough fan to remember that their name is plural....
I think the first time I heard Percussion Gun (a few days ago) I stopped breathing.
Animated cats play the theramin and other wackiness in a new video for TMBG's "Why Does the Sun Shine? (The Sun is a Mass of Incandescent Gas"
Aww, man, the theremin cat only lasts a second or two. I want more!
Sorry if this was posted before: Carl Sagan (and Stephen Hawking), remixed.
I heard about that on NPR. Truly it is a great age we live in. Autotuned Carl Sagan.
I did not know that my life needed Autotuned Carl Sagan. But it did.
I never realized how much Carl Sagan sounded like Kermit thr Frog before.
