Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sending tons of ~ma, Corwood. How terrible.

Much ~ma Corwood. That's rough, especially at that age.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Thanks, y'all. The word this morning is that his bilirubin count is down, but he'll be in the hospital for observation for a few more days.

There's a music connection. Brian's the guitarist for the surf-rock band the Penetrators, who mostly play around Atlanta: [link]

Hope he continues to improve, Corwood.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Awesome!! I have both on vinyl, but I so rarely listen to vinyl anymore (which is a shame) that I'd gladly buy them again on CD.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Cool!

Haven't their first two albums been re-issued back in the late '80s or so, making these re-reissues?

Anyway, I paid much $ for used copies of their first two CDs a few years back. It's about time they were in print again....

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

How much do I adore the band SNOG?

"I'm chewing the chewing gum of hate
I chewed it long I chewed it late
I'm chewing the chewing gum of hate
Munch munch, great great"

They're so WEIRD.

Of course "Christmas Everyday" is a grim, visceral condemnation of the Bush White House, in no uncertain terms ("It's Christmas, every day, for those murdering freaks in the White House") - so I adore them even MORE.
