I swear to you I heard this song at least 3 times today on the radio.
In many of the dive-y bars in The City, you will hear Journey at least once per visit. In any karaoke bar in the Bay Area, you will hear Journey a LOT. At least it's not Starship.
Xander ,'First Date'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Is death an option?
No, and if you don't choose, Bill O'Reilly, Karl Rove and Dick Cheney come and sing them to you.
"Paradise" I will, and have, listened to voluntarily, so it wins by default.
Also, Phil Rizzuto.
I just saw Total Eclipse of the Heart, the literal video version, and it was funnier than a very fucking funny thing, so I'm going to have to go with that for the Lulz.
Meanwhile...would Buffistarawk happen to be harbouring any Voltaire? Or - might it possibly be able to harbour any Voltaire at a future date? Because I have acquired Almost Human, and When You're Evil by kosher means, but I am now all out of kosher means. And it's very much my cup of chai.
What's better: Total Eclipse of the Heart or Paradise by the Dashboard Light
What is this, musical DINAO? Though Two Out of Three Ain't Bad would have made it more so than Paradise.
But both of those songs are inferior to This Corrosion. Hey now, hey now now.
As are most other songs.
Unbelievable! I just realised that I left "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" off Wallybee's Drama CD! That's just wrong. There will need to be a do-over.
I have much love for "heaven's just a funky moose", but the Journey simply isn't as Epic as Paradise or Eclipse. Those two are really in a class all their own.

It is true, they stand in a class of their own, and that class is THE STEINMAN.
With Total Eclipse we have the literal video. Paradise I have seen performed live, with staging, in Dallas with a hometown crowd.
I am unable to consider either one with any objectivity.
Edit: Hmm, Bat Out Of Hell was on the charts for nine YEARS. That has to count for something.

There should be. Jilli sent me some and I think it went through Buffistarawk. (Which prompted me to go buy his albums so....just good marketing!)
If you just search for Voltaire it should come up. It might be in 2, though.
