I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Bah! What is that '70s hit song about a guy who takes a nap in the tall grass on a hot summer day and dreams he's the star of a motion picture?....

"Spill The Wine", was it? Was that Eric Burdon singing it?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yes! Thanks. (Am downloading from iTunes now.)

The term "Jazz" may have originated in San Francisco. It was used by baseball players before it was applied to New Orleans music: [link]

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Sky Saxon passed away this morning. The website doesn't reflect it yet, but I have it on pretty good authority: [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I saw Sky Saxon play! Backed by Redd Kross. He was old and terrible, but the McDonald boys looked totally blissed out to be rocking behind him.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Michael Jackson is also dead.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Jacko was only 50.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Does anyone here know anything about this company? [link] It looks like they might buy many of my crappy CDs for as much as a buck a pop.

Amoeba used to pay me about a quarter of the resale value. So something they could sell for $10 would get me $2.50. I can still get that rate at Rasputin but Amoeba has lowered their buy rate, so it's closer to $1.50 or $2.

I haven't used that website but it looks like a legitimate price for places that don't have Amoeba (or Rasputin) nearby.

I am fairly confident that there is not a store in NYC that would give me money for Boyz II Men etc., so I'm going for it.
