Question: I'm making a CD for Wallybee. I've done a few for her before, to introduce her to more modern music. We've determined she likes the melodrama in her music (she likes opera, I figure it carries over). This CD, I'm trying to pull together some big drama. It cannot be too over the top - I'm putting on Jessica Simpson's "I Want To Love You Forever", for instance. It can be too heavy, so for instance Evanescence is probably out. (Maybe "All Of Me".) THE STEINMAN will certainly be represented, I think "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" is probably at the upper limit of enthusiastic guitar, while "Bat Out Of Hell", sadly would be too much.
Does anyone have suggestions for some over-the-top melodrama?
