Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Supernaturalwiki makes it look like they haven't said it since S2. Hunted, to be precise. But they don't have all the transcripts.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Is it too late to put in a vote for jerk/bitch? Although, I fear it is a losing effort. But, I loves it, I do.

Polls won't close for another couple hours (I think I posted at 4 yesterday).

Well, the votes are in. The winner?

Dean: I think he wants us to pick up where he left off. You know, saving people, hunting things—the family business.

takes it, 10 votes to 6.

I will get S2's initial round up tomorrow morning Pacific at the latest.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks for doing this, ita.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Thank you, ita. This was fun!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay, family business. Thanks, ita. It's nice having something to hold us through the long, hot hiatus.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Yes thank you ita. This has been great fun even if jerk/bitch went down in fiery flames on the ceiling to family business.

It's fun. All my templates for the posts are at work, so I'll put the brackets up then.

I seeded them, and then put them into the bracket. Family business was seeded 2 (I thought Jerk/Bitch was #1, even though that's now how I voted in the end.)

In theory, the first round should be pretty easy, because what I seeded 1 goes up against 32. But then as you get closer to the middle of the brackets it gets harder, plus fuckeries with my off the top of my head seeding. I feel bad for some of them.
