all of which are illustrative of the background and mythos of show, of character, of relationships, and are vids I think synergize music, clip choice and editing to the best advantage, as opposed to finding a popular song and cutting clips on the beat to illustrate the lyrics.
A personal favorite of mine, because it's small, contained, and to me is all about the brothers, is Passenger Seat, by proofpudding.

Morgandawn's God Says Nothing Back, which seamlessly incorporates extra-series footage to subtle yet stunning effect, is viewable on iMeem. If you want to download it, you could PM her through LiveJournal. iMeem won't go fullscreen for me, and God Says really needs to be seen fullscreen to be appreciated. IMHO. It's one of, if not the, first SPN vid I ever saw, and it remains sort of a gold standard for me.

Fay, I've watched that promo several times and have no idea about what you mean when you say that Castiel is talking to Ruby about disobeience - I see him talking to Anna. Unless (of course) you know that Ruby is using Anna's meatsuit.
Personally, I think we see Tessa and Allistair in some place between life and death - that being how Allistair can kill a Reaper.
But I was really happy to see Tessa - I really liked that character.

You know, I think I've made my peace with the no-speculation, no meta thing. I used to be spoilerphobic but a speculatin' sorta bitch, and meta is--or was--my meat. Now? I think I'll just subside, and let Kripke et.al deliver, save myself a flurry of reaction to things that may not come to pass, only the ones that do. That way lies my sanity this season.
