And someone was speaking of restraining friends from walking off with musicians ... back in my insufficiently misspent youth (at college) a friend would sometimes swing by the local club and, um, kinda abduct musicians. Morgana, it was a fairly benign "abduction" - he'd share his good drugs and return them, in more or less the same condition he found them, afterwards. And this was before date-rape drugs were around ... also the musicians were mostly guys while my friend was enthusiastically heterosexual, so there weren't any ulterior motives of that sort.
