I liked the little remembrance of brotherly love montage that allowed Sam to break Lucifer's hold. But that was like 2 minutes out of the hour.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I loved it, Ailleann. Which you knew, but.
I think ProphetKripke was charmingly meta.
I liked the episode, a lot. Prophet Kripke, eeeeh. I like it in theory, but the execution left me a little cold. Chuck looked too damn smug.
So God has been hiding out writing poorly selling books and going to fan conventions?
And hiding from archangels.
I loved it. I even think ProphetKripke is okay, although GodKripke is a bit too much.
So... I'm the only one that liked it, then?
No. Swan Song is officially my favorite episode. It ended the journey that I started five years ago. I'd be okay with not having a season six.
Sam's been demonized now?
In my interpretation, Sam watching was really Sam not a demon. That makes sense if God brought everyone else back. But he didn't approach Dean because if he did, Dean would hunt monsters again. This way, Sam gives Dean the "normal life".
The look on Sam's face said it was all Sam in there, to me, no Luci.
But he didn't approach Dean because if he did, Dean would hunt monsters again. This way, Sam gives Dean the "normal life".
I think if this had been the series finale, we wouldn't have had the shot of Sam.
Since we did, I assume it's the lead-in to next season. Especially with the light burning out.
I'm still snickering over the bag chunky soup going kerSPLAT! And by bag of chunky soup, I of course mean Castiel. Dude just does not get dignified deaths.
