I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

More random thoughts:

When Dean first walked into the diner to find Death, and there was the shot of everyone dead, I immediately texted Cass with "Hey, Sandman shout-out!". (One of the early issues. I know Kripke is a Gaiman fanboy, but I'm pretty sure Edlund is too. And I'm still kind of astonished that they didn't make Death a pretty brunette lady.)

After watching the promo, Pete said that he thinks that the damage Dean showed will be at the hands of Adam-as-Michael.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Death still wins in the end.

They're just masters of putting off that end past all practical expectations.

I'm still kind of astonished that they didn't make Death a pretty brunette lady

After Tessa, I can see why they didn't. I think it was explicitly called out that she was inspired by Neil's Death.

Pete said that he thinks that the damage Dean showed will be at the hands of Adam-as-Michael.

Tricksy! And then I'd be okay with Sam beating the crap out of him. Because I play favourites like that. I'm totally not tri-bro.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

My suspicion is that the sweetening of the deal is to make Bobby not be particularly eager to take his soul back.

Why would Crowley sweeten the deal? Ensure his survival? Thanks for the tongue? You can never truly trust a Mark Shepard character

::nods:: "Demon!"

I was totally expecting Tessa to be in amongst the crowd.

Oh me too! I don't think we've seen a female reaper since we last saw Tessa.

Death was played by a wonderful character actor who's done everything from Highlander to Hard Core Logo. His voice always surprises me in its cultured ordinariness, too.

Heh. I started a Buffista meme.

Thanks to John Rogers, I can't help but think "Crowley never loses."

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

She only looks like Lindsey McKeon for Dean's benefit.

And mine.

You say that now. But you haven't been reaped yet. You could end up with Yakov Smirnoff.

I have found myself posting in random places about last night's ep. People keep getting facts wrong. On the internet! In their reviews!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

what was with Crowley first taking Dean to the warehouse where Death was... not. What was in there? Why all the reapers? Curious.

Ooh, nice catch, Jen. I hope it is indeed a left turn, and not just a way to make us think Crowley was taking Dean on a wild goose chase.

One of the other things that I liked were the quiet moments, like when they're all back at Bobby's after getting Pestilence's ring and are just depressed and tired. Cas all human and leaning on his hand, Dean flopped over the back of the chair. And then later when Dean and Sam are watching the security monitors.

One thing that I still didn't get the gist of was Cas talking about with the demon blood and drinking gallons. That if Sam says yes to Luci it would be like drinking gallons? Or if he says yes, he'll have to drink gallons?

One of my flisters suggested that's where God was.

I thought it was the former, but then as he explained about Lucifer's current vessel, it seemed to be the latter. Which, WHAT? That's exsanguinating multiple demons.

Dean playing with all four rings was good too. Of course, I couldn't but wonder where Sammy was, and what he was thinking about.

That's exsanguinating multiple demons.

That's exsanguinating multiple INNOCENT PEOPLE. Nurse Cindy who? And, yeah, I think it's what they're saying he'd have to do to sustain the vesselhood.

Which makes me go naughty places about what you have to drink to sustain an archangel but NEVER MIND.
